Yemen’s future will depend on people with the knowledge, leadership capabilities and determination to address complex challenges and create new opportunities.

HSA Group has partnered with Chevening, the UK Government’s international scholarships programme, to enable two outstanding Yemeni professionals to study at leading UK universities and return ready to translate their experience into meaningful impact.

Employment with HSA Group is not required. The scholarships are open to eligible Yemeni applicants.

Read the full criteria
  1. 01

    Be a Yemeni national and commit to returning to Yemen for at least two years after completing the scholarship.

  2. 02

    Hold an undergraduate degree that qualifies you for a UK master’s programme.

  3. 03

    Have at least 2,800 hours of work experience acquired after completing your undergraduate degree.

  4. 04

    Apply to three different eligible one-year taught master’s courses in the UK.

  5. 05

    Demonstrate leadership potential and a clear commitment to creating positive change.

Submit your application through Chevening before the deadline.

Applications cannot be submitted to HSA Group directly. All applications must be completed through Chevening’s official application system.

What applicants need to know

Do I need to work for HSA Group?

No. The scholarships are open to all eligible Yemeni applicants.

Do I apply through HSA Group?

No. Applications must be submitted through Chevening’s official online application system.

Do I need a university offer before applying?

No. You can submit your Chevening application before receiving an offer, but you must later secure an unconditional offer from an eligible course by Chevening’s deadline.

When do applications close?

Applications close on 6 October 2026 at 11:00 UTC. Late applications cannot be accepted.
