UNDP and HDP Launch the Women and Men Leadership Program for Gendered Socio-economic Impacts in Yemen

Empowering local communities for sustainable development

ُHSA Group’s Human Development Program and the United Nations Development Programme launched the Women and Men Leadership Programme for Gendered Socio-economic Impacts. The program empowers Yemeni women and men to lead the response to economic and social challenges.

As a vital initiative that realizes economic empowerment in local communities in Yemen, this program is aligned with HSA Group's long-standing commitment to fostering sustainable development in Yemen by serving communities and providing them with the skills and resources needed to foster resilience in the face of conflict.

Women and Men Leadership Programme beneficiaries, and the responsible authorities will undertake several activities focused on empowerment and capacity building. These activities are tailored to equip female and male leaders with the technical and personal skills needed to tackle community challenges and raise awareness about key social and economic issues.
