Since its establishment in 1970, HSACF has contributed profoundly in fighting hanger all over the Republic of Yemen within the 22 governorates by delivering food assistance to the most vulnerable households. Over 50 years, HSACF has targeted populations in dire need of food assistance around Yemen. For example, in the last five years (2015-2019) HSACF has distributed around 315,329 food baskets in all governorates of Yemen.

The health program in HSACF provided assistance for 40,471 patients. This support is provided through supporting medical health facilities (HF) by Medicine, medical equipment and operational expenses. Healthy communities are one of the most necessities in life and it is our goal to promote access to health services in those areas, which lack basic health services.

To decrease Yemenis suffering, HSACF provides assistance to ensure accessibility to clean and safe water through rehabilitating/constructing boreholes, wells, and providing water equipment, e.g. hand pumps. Due to the escalated conflict in the last five years, HSACF has supported the vulnerable HHs by delivering water trucking project in Taiz, Sana’a, Aden and Alhudaydah governorates by more than (1,273,280,000) liter of clean water.

From 2015 until now, we started the rehabilitation of 12 schools in Taiz affected by the recent conflict. In addition to the hard work in providing educational opportunities, HSACF has various projects in youth rehabilitation through programs of summer training courses for example; secondary school students (200) students, and the vocational education training in Taiz governorate schools (200) students in partnership with GIZ.

Emergency relief is one of the goals of the foundation to save the lives of the needy populations by providing food assistance and medical aid to victims of conflict and natural disasters. It reduces losses of assets of people from becoming a long-term suffering. HSACF provided its emergency relief to more than (2,582,180) needy families in various areas in Yemen.

Protection is defined as all activities aimed at obtaining full respect for the rights of all individuals without any discrimination, in accordance with the provisions of the relevant laws and frameworks.

Provides temporary or emergency housing to individuals and / or families who are homeless or temporarily displaced due to circumstances beyond their complete control, such as conflicts or natural disasters, and provide them with relief support.
